Changelog
All notable changes to laiki.
v0 — in progress (2026-06)
- Light and dark — a toggle in the corner of every page: follow your system, or pick one and it sticks
- Public pages — a shared collection now shows its sections, each with its own Open all, and each one foldable; before, a collection you'd split into parts arrived as one flat list
- Side panel — sections and links now live in one draggable flow: drag a section by its header to reorder it, drop it between two loose links, or pop a link back out — links and sections interleave freely
- Side panel — fold a section to tuck its links away and keep the list an outline; it stays folded next time you open the panel
- Side panel — sections: divide a big collection into labelled parts, each with its own Open all; drag a link into a section to file it there, and a section-less collection looks exactly as before
- User pages moved to laiki.cc/@you — the @ keeps the plain words free for short links, so no username can ever take one. Old laiki.cc/you/… links stop working
- Side panel — the header actions are icons now, with tooltips
- Side panel — drag a group along the strip to reorder it
- Side panel — dropping a drag past the last item lands it at the end, with the line drawn where it would land
- Side panel — drag a link into another collection to move it there
- Side panel — grab anything to drag it: whole rows and collections, no tiny handle to aim at
- Side panel — drag a collection onto a group's name to file it there, from either view
- Overview — drag collections to reorder them, swipe sideways to change group
- Overview — a button in the side panel header swaps swiping for one stacked list you can open and close; the panel remembers which you prefer
- Groups — shelve your collections as work, games, social…; the side panel gets a shelf strip on top and a Move link on each collection
- Side panel — make a group or a collection right there with the + at the end of each strip
- Side panel — drag collection tabs to reorder them within a group
- Side panel — double-click a collection's title to rename it
- Side panel — a ⚙ per collection for the rarer things: change its address, move it between groups, delete it (changing the address warns you it breaks links you've shared)
- Side panel — status messages moved to the bottom, out of the way of the list
- Side panel — swipe left/right between collections, with a tab strip across the top
- Side panel — quieter layout: double-click a link to rename it, drag to reorder, and reach the collection's own page from its /slug
- Side panel — opens instantly from a local cache, then quietly checks for changes in the background
- Side panel — clicking a link switches to that tab if it's already open, instead of opening a duplicate
- Edit page — enter a collection's key on any device to add, change, reorder, or delete its links, no sign-in
- Edit keys — set a password on a collection so it can be edited without a Google account
- Chrome extension — save open tabs, or import a bookmark folder, into a collection
- Stay signed in — skip the Google prompt when you're already logged in
- Collection visibility — public, unlisted, or private
- Settings — edit your display name and username
- Google sign-in and username claim (
laiki.cc/you) - Dashboard: create collections; add, edit, reorder, and delete links
- Public collection pages with one-click open all
- Public user pages
- Live updates — edit once, everyone with the link sees the latest
- Landing page, changelog, and roadmap
